Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Encinitas sit along the LOSSAN rail and I-5 corridor. Local infrastructure includes the San Luis Rey River Trail in Oceanside and segmented Coastal Rail Trail miles described by the City of Oceanside, City of Carlsbad, and SANDAG. The full Coastal Rail Trail is a planned roughly 42-mile route; many segments are still incomplete.
