The San Gabriel River Trail is a long paved multi-use path that LA County and TrailLink describe as running from the San Gabriel Mountains area south to Seal Beach, ending near River's End Park at the coast. Long Beach also publishes Class I paths that connect into the same river-trail network. For Seal Beach riders, that means easy access to flat, car-separated miles—and plenty of salt air that is tough on chains and cables.
We're not in Seal Beach; our one shop is in Santa Ana. Nearby coastal riders often visit for careful tune-ups, tubeless work and Cervélo bikes.
