Of every city we have a rider guide for, Fountain Valley has the shortest road trip to our door. Talbert Ave crosses the Santa Ana River and changes its name to MacArthur Blvd, and the shop sits just under a mile past that bridge. Plenty of Fountain Valley riders treat it as a ride-in errand: roll over on the river trail, leave the bike, and come back for it later.
The riding here is mostly flat: laps of Mile Square Regional Park, the river path along the city's east edge, and spins down to the beach. Flat doesn't mean wear-free. Easy miles add up on tires, chains and brake pads, and family bikes that sit in the garage between rides tend to come in with soft tires and tired brakes. Edgar Rodriguez and the bench look the bike over with you and agree the work and the price before a wrench turns.

Repairs Fountain Valley riders ask for most
- Flat fixes and fresh tires — Park paths and river-trail debris cause most of the flats we see from Fountain Valley. We repair the puncture or replace the tire and tube, and check the rim tape while the wheel is off. Book this
- Brakes on family and everyday bikes — Squeals, weak stopping and worn pads: pads replaced, rotors trued, calipers lined up, on rim or disc brakes. Book this
- Wobbly wheels — Curb hits and kids' bikes thrown in the car knock wheels out of true. We true them laterally and radially, check spoke tension and replace broken spokes. Book this · More
- A tune-up after a quiet spell — If the bike has been parked for a while, a tune-up resets shifting and brakes, lubes the drivetrain and torques bolts to spec. Book this · More
- Tubeless conversions — Fewer flats on the same routes: tubeless install, sealant refresh and valve service. Book this · More
Because we're so close, Fountain Valley is where a quick conversation saves the most time. If you're not sure whether something is worth fixing, call (714) 760-4908 and describe it; we'll tell you straight whether to bring it in.
