Brea anchors the north edge of Orange County against Carbon Canyon. Carbon Canyon Rd is the classic north-county climb: a two-lane canyon road toward Carbon Canyon Regional Park and beyond, best ridden early because cars use the canyon as a cut-through. OC Parks' Carbon Canyon Regional Park at the canyon mouth is a common meet-up and short-loop base before longer rides toward Chino Hills.
Canyon heat and long stretches on the brakes coming down are hard on pads and fluid, so Brea riders most often book a brake bleed, a tune-up or drivetrain service. We're an independent, owner-run shop in Santa Ana, and we look the bike over with you and confirm the work and price before anything starts.
