For a lot of west-county riders, Los Alamitos is the gateway to the San Gabriel River Trail's southern miles. The paved path along the river is the signature ride here: flat, long and mostly separated from cars, ending toward Seal Beach at the coast. From the trail's southern end you can connect to Seal Beach and Long Beach shoreline paths for salt-air miles, then head back inland.

High-mileage flat riding and a bit of salt air are a predictable combination on the stand: chains that wear out quietly, tubeless sealant that dries out, and cables that start to drag. Los Alamitos riders often book a tune-up or tubeless work, and come to us for Cervélo, Pinarello and Colnago quotes. We confirm the work and price with you first.

Repairs Los Alamitos riders ask for most

  • Tune-ups — Safety check, shifting and brake adjustment, drivetrain lube and bolts torqued to spec. Book this · More
  • Tubeless setup — Tubeless installs, sealant refreshes and valve service; sealant dries faster on sunny coastal miles. Book this · More
  • Drivetrain clean and chain check — River-trail volume wears chains steadily. Deep clean, re-lube and a chain-wear check. Book this
  • Wheel true — Truing, spoke tension and broken-spoke replacement, quoted on inspection. Book this · More
  • Pre-event checks — A safety and performance check before a race, gran fondo or long group ride. Book this · More

Katella is the practical drive to the freeways, and it's busy, so most Los Alamitos customers drive it rather than ride it. If you're shopping for a new bike, a quote request before your visit means sizing is already under way when you arrive. See bike quotes.
