Cypress riders tend to rack up steady, flat miles. Neighborhood loops on Orange Ave and Valley View St are the weekday default, and the San Gabriel River Trail is a short hop west through Los Alamitos, with long, paved, mostly car-separated miles toward Seal Beach and inland. From the river trail, coastal connectors run on to Seal Beach and Long Beach.

That kind of riding wears bikes evenly and quietly: chains stretch, cables get sticky, and tubeless sealant dries out before you notice. Most of what Cypress riders bring us is maintenance done properly, plus the occasional bigger job. We're an independent, owner-run shop, and we go through the work and price with you first.

Repairs Cypress riders ask for most

  • Tune-ups — Safety check, shifting and brake adjustment, drivetrain lube and bolts torqued to spec. Book this · More
  • Tubeless refresh — Sealant dries out over a few months. Refresh, valve service and tubeless installs. Book this · More
  • Hydraulic brake bleeds — A lever that pulls closer to the bar than it used to needs fresh fluid and a proper bleed. Book this · More
  • Cables and housing — Sticky or slow shifting on an older bike is often just tired cables and housing. Book this
  • Wheel true — A wobble or a brake rub that wasn't there before: lateral and radial truing and spoke tension, quoted on inspection. Book this · More

River-trail riders: if you ride the San Gabriel River Trail several times a week, a chain check every service saves money. Coastal days toward Seal Beach add salt to the mix, so mention those when you book and we'll pay extra attention to the drivetrain and bolts.
