Where can I get a Shimano Di2 setup near Santa Ana?
Veloaded Cyclery at 3420 W MacArthur Blvd Suite B, Santa Ana, CA 92704 does Di2 / AXS / Campy setup, including Shimano Di2. That covers installing and routing a new system, pairing, adjusting derailleur limits and indexing, checking the battery, updating firmware where needed, and setting shift modes the way you like them.
We also sort out Di2 problems: missed or slow shifts, a system that won't connect, or shifting that's off after a crash or a wheel swap. As a Shimano dealer, we can help with parts if something needs replacing. To book, call (714) 760-4908 or book online, and tell us your groupset and what's going on. For pricing, call the shop for a quote. More on our Di2 & AXS service page.
Do you service SRAM AXS in Orange County?
Yes. Di2 / AXS / Campy setup is one of our core services at Veloaded Cyclery in Santa Ana. For SRAM AXS that includes installing components, pairing shifters and derailleurs, setting limits and microadjusting, checking batteries, and diagnosing pairing or shifting problems.
AXS is wireless, so many problems are about pairing, batteries or a bent derailleur hanger rather than the electronics themselves. A hanger alignment, which is also part of our Veloaded Essential Service, often fixes shifting that seems "electronic" but is really mechanical. Call (714) 760-4908 or book online. Can you work on Campagnolo groupsets?
Yes. Our Di2 / AXS / Campy setup service covers Campagnolo as well as Shimano and SRAM. Campagnolo drivetrains have their own tools, standards and adjustment procedures, and they're common on the Italian bikes we're dealers for, such as Pinarello and Colnago.
Whether you have a Campagnolo electronic or mechanical group, we can install, adjust and troubleshoot it. If you're building a new bike around Campagnolo, we'll check compatibility with your frame, wheels and bottom bracket before parts are ordered. Call (714) 760-4908 to describe your setup and get a quote, or email [email protected].
Why is my Di2 or AXS bike shifting badly?
Electronic shifting is very consistent once it's set up, so when it starts missing shifts there's usually a specific cause. Common ones we see:
- A bent derailleur hanger, often from a tip-over or travel
- A worn chain or cassette
- A low battery, or a component that has dropped its pairing
- A loose connection on a wired system
- Adjustment that has drifted, or a wheel swap with slightly different cassette spacing
- Firmware that needs updating
A quick check of the battery and hanger is worth doing first. If that doesn't fix it, bring it in. At Veloaded Cyclery we diagnose the actual cause before replacing anything, and tell you honestly what we find. Call (714) 760-4908 to book.
Can I upgrade my mechanical bike to electronic shifting?
Often yes, but it depends on the frame. Some frames have the ports and routing for both mechanical and electronic systems; others need specific cable stops, internal routing or battery mounting options that limit what you can fit. Wireless systems such as SRAM AXS can make conversions simpler on some frames.
You'll also want to check compatibility with your brakes (mechanical or hydraulic), your wheels' freehub and your crankset. At Veloaded Cyclery we'll look at your frame and current components and tell you honestly whether the upgrade makes sense, or whether the money is better spent elsewhere. Call (714) 760-4908 or email [email protected] with your bike's make, model and year for an assessment and a quote.
