What we do

  • Flat repair and tube replacement
  • Tire installs, including tight-fitting road tires
  • Finding the cause: glass or a thorn still in the tire, a cut, failed rim tape, a valve problem
  • Tubeless flats: sealant refresh, plugs, valve service, or a tube as a bail-out
  • A quick check of brakes, wheel true and tire wear while the wheel is out

Road, triathlon, gravel and mountain bikes of any brand, wherever you bought them. Prices aren't published online; we tell you the price before we start.

Why does my tire keep going flat?

Repeat flats usually have a cause that a new tube doesn't fix:

  • A sliver of glass or a thorn still stuck in the tire
  • Rim tape that has slipped or split, exposing a spoke hole
  • Pinch flats from riding with too little pressure
  • A worn tire with cuts in the tread or sidewall
  • A valve that leaks or a dried-out tubeless setup

Thorns near the river paths, glass on PCH frontage and goathead season inland all show up on our stand. If you're tired of weekly flats, ask about tubeless; our tubeless and flat fixes guide covers roadside fixes.
