Westside riding is beach paths, coast roads and canyon climbs in the Santa Monica Mountains, often all on the same ride. It's a demanding mix, and many riders here are on high-end road bikes they want looked after properly.

We're about 46 road miles away, so we don't pretend to be your local shop. What we offer is a specialist dealer and builder who'll talk through a Pinarello, Colnago or Cervélo with you, build it, fit you to it and service it, plus a ship-to-shop option for the times you can't get down here.

Riding the Westside

The beach bike path runs along the sand through Santa Monica and on toward the South Bay. Pacific Coast Highway heads north toward Malibu, and the canyon roads in the Santa Monica Mountains are where local riders go to climb. Expect weekend crowds on the beach path and fast traffic on PCH.

Salt air dries chains and corrodes bolts and cables, and canyon descents work brakes hard. Coastal bikes benefit from regular drivetrain cleaning and hardware checks.

Getting to the shop from Santa Monica

About 46.0 miles by road from Santa Monica City Hall (1685 Main St), roughly 60–75 minutes off-peak (approx.; 39.4 mi as the crow flies). It's the I-10 east to the I-405 south, then the 405 nearly the whole way, past LAX and through the South Bay. Get off at Talbert Ave or Harbor Blvd and we're just north on W MacArthur Blvd. The 405 is often slow, so allow extra time.
