Premium bikes and service for Torrance and South Bay riders

Torrance is the closest of the South Bay cities to our shop, and it sits right between the beach and the Palos Verdes Peninsula. For a lot of riders here, the week means beach-path miles and the weekend means climbing on the Peninsula, so they want a bike that's light, well geared and set up to fit.

We're a specialist shop, not a corner store. Riders come down from the South Bay for a Pinarello, Colnago or Cervélo, a custom build or a full fit, and stay with us for service.

South Bay riding

The beach bike path along the South Bay ends at Torrance Beach, and from there the Palos Verdes Peninsula rises to the south with its coastal climbs. Part of Palos Verdes Drive South runs through an active landslide area, and the City of Rancho Palos Verdes has repeatedly extended a ban on bicycles on that stretch (see the Rancho Palos Verdes page). Check current city notices before planning a Peninsula loop.

Beach air and sand wear chains and cables, and Peninsula descents wear brakes. Ask us to check both at your next tune-up.

Getting to the shop from Torrance

About 29.7 miles by road from Torrance City Hall (3031 Torrance Blvd), roughly 40–55 minutes off-peak (approx.; 26.2 mi as the crow flies). Torrance Blvd east to the I-405 south covers almost all of it; Talbert Ave or Harbor Blvd are the exits for W MacArthur Blvd. It's one of the simplest drives on this list, with the 405 through Long Beach and Seal Beach the usual slow point.
