ENVE Composites is based in Ogden, Utah, and is best known for carbon wheels and cockpits. In recent years it has added complete bikes too: the Melee race bike, the Fray all-road bike and the MOG gravel bike. You'll see an ENVE build on the counter in our shop photos; it's a brand we're proud to build with and to stand behind as an authorized dealer.

The ENVE range, in plain English

• SES road wheels. ENVE's aero road line, in a range of rim depths for climbing, all-round and flat, fast riding.
• Foundation wheels. ENVE's more accessible wheel collection, built around the same design approach.
• Gravel wheels. Wider rims (such as the G23) for gravel tires and mixed surfaces.
• Cockpits and components. Carbon handlebars (including aero and integrated options), stems, seatposts and forks.
• Complete bikes. Melee for road racing, Fray for all-road riding on wider tires, and MOG for gravel. ENVE lists builds with SRAM RED and Force AXS.

Choosing ENVE wheels for Orange County roads

Rim depth is the big decision. Shallower rims suit climbers who spend weekends on Santiago Canyon or Ortega Highway and want a light, stable wheel in crosswinds. Deeper rims suit flat, fast riding along PCH and the river trails. Many riders end up in the middle with an all-round depth. We'll talk through how and where you ride, check tire size and frame clearance, and confirm compatibility with your hubs, rotors and freehub before anything is ordered.

Fitting an ENVE cockpit

A carbon bar or one-piece cockpit changes your reach and hand position, so it's worth getting right. If you're also booking a professional fit with Edgar Rodriguez, do the fit first and choose bar width, reach and stem length from the result. We install cockpits with the correct torque and carbon assembly paste, and route hoses and wires cleanly for integrated setups.
