Inland Empire riders ask a particular question about Pinarello: which of these bikes suits riding that's mostly long, hot and uphill? Pinarello is famous for race bikes, but its range now covers endurance and gravel too, and for a lot of IE riders the best Pinarello isn't the most aggressive one. Veloaded Cyclery, a proud authorized Pinarello dealer at 3420 W MacArthur Blvd Suite B in Santa Ana, helps you work that out before anything is ordered.

Endurance first? The Dogma X and X-series

Pinarello's endurance family, as listed on pinarello.com, is the Dogma X and the X-series. Endurance geometry puts you a little taller and shorter at the front, and these bikes have room for wider tires. For mountain days toward Baldy or the San Bernardino Mountains, long valley miles and rough rural roads, that position is often easier to hold for hours, especially in heat. Many riders are faster on a bike they're comfortable on.

Racing? The Dogma F and F-series

If you race or ride fast group rides in the valley, the Dogma F and F-series offer Pinarello's race geometry across a range of carbon grades and groupsets. They're lower and longer, and a race fit takes more care to set up. We compare stack and reach against your current bike first.

Dirt? The Dogma GR and Grevil F

Chino Hills State Park, the dirt roads around the valley and mixed-surface loops suit Pinarello's gravel bikes: the Dogma GR for gravel racing and the Grevil F for long gravel days. Tire clearance, gearing range and tubeless setup are worth planning from the start; see custom builds.

Pinarello's builds and colors vary by season and market. Call us to find out what can be ordered for you; quotes are personal, and stock and prices aren't published.

Which Pinarello for which IE rider?

Some common profiles, as a starting point for a conversation rather than a rule. A Rancho Cucamonga rider heading up the foothills most weekends often ends up on endurance geometry with a wide gear range. A Redlands rider who races or rides fast group rides is a natural fit for the F-series. A Chino Hills rider who wants dirt and road in the same week might choose the Grevil F with two wheelsets. A Temecula rider doing long wine-country loops in the heat may value comfort and tire volume over the last few grams. Tell us which sounds like you, and we'll go from there.

Heat and Pinarello care

Pinarello road frames use integrated cockpits with internal routing and a threaded Italian bottom bracket. Heat dries tubeless sealant and is hard on tires, and dust gets into drivetrains and bearings. We service Pinarellos of any age on our bench; see bike repair for Inland Empire riders and San Bernardino County riders. Between visits, we accept bikes, frames and wheels shipped to the shop at 3420 W MacArthur Blvd Suite B, Santa Ana, CA 92704. Call (714) 760-4908 or email [email protected] first to arrange it and get a service ticket, and ask us about return shipping details.

Wheels and tires for inland roads

The right wheels change how a Pinarello rides on IE roads. Deeper rims help on fast, flat valley miles; shallower, lighter rims suit long climbs; wider internal rim widths support bigger tires for rough rural pavement. We're authorized dealers of ENVE, Princeton and Scope, and we check tire and rim compatibility, including hookless rims, before anything is ordered.

How buying works

  1. Start the conversation. Tell us where you ride in the IE and what you ride now, through a Pinarello quote request or on (714) 760-4908.
  2. Size and spec, by phone first if that saves a trip.
  3. Quote, then order. Nothing is ordered until you say yes.
  4. Built in-house by Edgar Rodriguez, our Founder & Master Builder, with wheel upgrades from ENVE, Princeton or Scope and CeramicSpeed bearings if you want them.
  5. Pick-up and fit. Add a full professional fit with Ed; see bike fitting for IE riders.

Comparing brands? We're also authorized Colnago and Cervélo dealers: see the Colnago and Cervélo guides for Inland Empire riders.

Questions riders ask

Can a Pinarello be built with wider tires for rough roads?

It depends on the model. Endurance and gravel Pinarellos have more tire clearance than the race bikes; we confirm clearance for the exact model and tire before ordering.

Which Pinarello is best for long climbs in the heat?

Many riders are best served by the endurance Dogma X or X-series, which put you in a position that's easier to hold for hours. Racers may prefer the F-series. We help you choose.

Is the Grevil F a good fit for Chino Hills dirt?

It is Pinarello's long-distance gravel bike, so it suits mixed dirt and road days; the Dogma GR is the racier option. We confirm what can be ordered and quote first.

Do I need to come in for sizing?

Not always. Many Riverside and San Bernardino County riders settle size and spec over the phone using their current bike's measurements, then visit once to collect and fit.

Can I ship my Pinarello for service?

Yes, by arrangement: a service ticket first (call or email), then ship the bike, frame or wheels to the Santa Ana shop, and ask about return shipping details.

Do you service Pinarellos bought elsewhere?

Yes, road and gravel, any age, wherever you bought them.
