San Diego County has its own bike shops, and for a quick repair the nearest one is the right call. Riders make the trip north to us for something more specific: a Pinarello from an authorized dealer who'll size it carefully, build it properly and stay involved afterward, with Colnago and Cervélo to compare in the same conversation. From this far away, how the purchase works matters as much as the bike, so this page is mostly about doing it in as few trips as possible.

Road and gravel Pinarellos for coast and backcountry

Pinarello's current families, as listed on pinarello.com, include:

  • Dogma F and F-series: race bikes, for fast coast-road miles and group rides.
  • Dogma X and X-series: endurance bikes, taller at the front with room for wider tires, for long days and inland climbs.
  • Dogma GR and Grevil F: gravel race and long-distance gravel, for the dirt roads inland.

Builds and colors change by season, so ask what can be ordered now. We quote you personally rather than publishing prices or stock.

Buying a Pinarello in one trip

  1. Do the groundwork by phone. Send a Pinarello quote request with your height, current bike and its setup, how you ride and your budget, or call (714) 760-4908.
  2. Agree size and spec. We compare stack and reach with your current bike and talk through gearing, wheels and tires before anything is ordered.
  3. Quote, then order. Nothing is ordered until you say yes.
  4. We build it. Assembled in-house, torqued to spec, shifting and cockpit set up.
  5. One visit to collect. We go through the bike with you and make final adjustments. If you want a full professional fit, Ed can do it on the same visit; see bike fitting for San Diego riders.

If you're choosing between brands, we're also authorized Colnago and Cervélo dealers, so the comparison happens in one conversation. See the Cervélo and Colnago guides for San Diego riders.

Salt air and a carbon Pinarello

Coastal riding brings salt and sand into chains, bolts and bearings. Pinarello road frames use a threaded Italian bottom bracket and integrated cockpits with internal routing, which reward careful servicing. Regular drivetrain cleaning, hardware checks and electronic shifting checks keep a race bike running well. Between visits, ship it: We accept bikes, frames and wheels shipped to the shop at 3420 W MacArthur Blvd Suite B, Santa Ana, CA 92704. Call (714) 760-4908 or email [email protected] first to arrange it and get a service ticket, and ask us about return shipping details.

Upgrades at build time

Ordering a new bike is the easiest time to change wheels, bearings or contact points. We're authorized dealers of ENVE, Princeton and Scope wheels, CeramicSpeed, Shimano and more, so those choices can be built in from day one. See custom builds for San Diego riders.
