Why Westminster riders book a fit

From Westminster you can reach the coast at Bolsa Chica, the Santa Ana River Trail to the east, and the San Gabriel River and Coyote Creek trails to the west. That's a lot of long, flat, steady riding, and steady riding is where a position that's slightly off adds up: saddle soreness, a stiff neck and lower back, hands that tingle by the end of the ride.

If you're building up to longer rides on those trails, or moving from a casual bike to a road or triathlon bike, a fit helps you stay comfortable as the miles go up.

Getting to the shop from Westminster

Veloaded Cyclery is one shop, in Santa Ana at 3420 W MacArthur Blvd Suite B, Santa Ana, CA 92704: about 7.6 road miles from Westminster City Hall, roughly 15–25 min off-peak (approximate, from OpenStreetMap routing; rush-hour traffic on the 405, 5 and 55 can add a lot).

From City Hall (8200 Westminster Blvd), take Beach Blvd south to the 405 and head south. Leave the freeway and make your way to Talbert Ave heading east; across the Santa Ana River, Talbert becomes MacArthur Blvd. The shop is just under a mile past the river, in Suite B. By bike, head east to the Santa Ana River Trail, ride it to the Talbert/MacArthur crossing, then go east on MacArthur.

2. Tell us about your riding, any discomfort, and any goal such as an event or a new bike.
3. Bring your bike, cycling shoes and pedals, and the kit you usually ride in.
